ChaosCut does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Your media stays on your device. Photos, videos and audio files you add are copied into the app's private storage on your iPhone and are used only to find the beat and create your video. They are never uploaded anywhere.
No accounts. ChaosCut has no sign-up, sign-in, or user profiles.
No analytics or tracking. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party SDKs, and ChaosCut has no servers. The only downloads are your own iCloud photos and videos, fetched by iOS when you pick them.
Photo library access. ChaosCut asks for access to your photo library so it can show your photos and videos in its own clip picker, sorted by when they were taken. You can grant access to only selected items in iOS Settings. Only the clips you pick are copied into the app, and exported videos are saved to your photo library only when you choose to export.
Deleting your data. Deleting a reel inside the app permanently removes its copies of your media; removing a song from the Songs tab deletes its audio. Deleting the app removes everything.
